CES is a member of Downtown Congregations to End Homelessness (DCEH) - a consortium of fifteen congregations and agencies that are working together to end homelessness in downtown Minneapolis. In the Fall of 2010, DCEH and the Metropolitan Community and Technical College (MCTC) sponsored a photojournalism course on poverty in the inner city. "Scratching the Surface of Homelessness and Poverty" is the exhibit the MCTC students produced.
