8/1/09: Improved Refrigerator/Freezer Space Coming Soon!

Thanks to generous gifts from Wells Fargo Bank, City of Lakes Rotary, and CES Meals on Wheels, CES will soon be installing a 2,000 cubic foot modular refrigerator/freezer.

6/4/09: Trash to Cash Program

Trash to Cash program—CES accepts laser and ink jet cartridges and cell phones to recycle. All you need to do is to drop them off at CES and they are turned into CASH!

5/24/09: Pastor John Bohnsack has retired!

Pastor John Bohnsack has resigned with his last day with the ministry being 5/01/09. The Board of Directors, the staff, and the rest of CES wants to thank him for his 28 years of service and dedication. We pray for God's blessing on John and his wife Barbara during their retirement years.

4/15/09: Fishing For Life "Fish-a-Thon"

The Fish-A-Thon is an event designed to be a financial vehicle for ministries in Minneapolis and St. Paul. The goal is to mobilize over 10,000 area youth to participate on area lakes, or whatever body of water they choose, throughout Summer 2008.

3/26/09: Friday Produce Day

While our weekly Friday produce day has grown to routinely serve 200+ people, we've seen weeks with over 300 people. This program is meeting real needs in the Twin Cities.

11/01/08: Christmas Gift Giving

Due to the Economy, the funds are coming in slowly: Food Donations are down by 60,000 pounds compared to last year at this time! Funds are down by $30,000 from expections.
